Works fairly well / tracking # integration broken
Works fine, however at least in the case of Australia Post as a delivery partner, when you click on track order, the tracking number shown is wrong, it has a “&type” appended to it which makes it invalid. This might not strictly be the app’s fault but this is probably the best place to report it?
Tried to buy a phone at Apple Store
I visited the store in Brisbane wanting to buy a iPhone pro. First person pointed me to a person with an iPad in there hand. Waited patiently and then told to wait over in the corner for a “specialist”. After 15 mins no show and went back and said I just want to buy the phone. No no no you have to see the specialist. Alright then I will buy it online and pick it up. Went back to the office to buy it and you guessed it the store was being updated. Another 2 hrs went by and finally came back, clicked on buy , chose colour and memory and add to bag. NOT AVAILABLE at Brisbane store. Tried the other colours and all out of stock. What a freaking joke. Tried again the next day and only gray and white were available. Wife wanted the blue or black. Now it’s Friday and still out of stock. There sales techniques must be aimed at airheads with lots of time money. All I wanted to do was buy a phone.
Hoping the Rumoured 6.1” Screen of the iPhone SE 4 aren’t true
I hope Apple haven’t abandoned small form factor phones entirely and that the rumoured 6.1” iPhone SE 4 screen size isn’t true. If so, I’ll be buying an iPhone SE 3 when the specs of the iPhone SE 4 are confirmed, but just not using the Apple Store app because I have a device that only supports the latest versions of iOS 15 and I was surprised to find the Apple Store app is no longer supported on devices with iOS versions less than 16. You can’t even install an older version of the app that is compatible with iOS 15 like you can with some other apps that the latest versions only support iOS 16. This means I can’t use the Apple Store app to buy a device that the app does run on.
