Voice assistant off
I beg you guys, make it possible to disable headphones assistant. Its really annoying to hear voice of the girl each time I do any action. Everything else is just fine, but its should be so obvious that assistant is annoying, I don’t get why it works yet like this. Please, thank you!
Does not allow to disable ALL voice notifocations
Use the app with XM4 headset and usually 2 devices- laptop and phone. Every time I move around my apartment or office while being on the call with customer or family I hear lady says “Bluetooth second device disconnected” and other such things. On Sony support forums support employees say that these messages are “important” and can’t be turned off. That’s complete nonsense. What’s more important: let me know about dropped device connection OR let me listen what the other person on the call says? Important things include natural disasters and wars happening around, but definitely not me going out of range of my laptop’s bluetooth. Dear Sony, the headset is awesome! Please listen to your customers and make another switch in the app allowing to disable “important” messages as well. Every headset I’ve used before had option to replace voice notifications with beeps of different tones. If you want to stand out you can have two switches instead of one. But please do it.
Bad UX
If you can do smart features such as Adaptive Sound Control, I bet you can also just allow us to customize the order of the Sound Control modes. I always want to have Sound Control Off by default, no matter where I am. But every time I tutn on the headphones, I have to click the button twice to select the preferred mode. Good thing you at least have an option to turn off the voice. But it's weird that I can't just keep the beeping sounds instead. For the price of the headphones, I believe you could have crafted a better application.
