Our tried-and-tested GEPI angle brackets are the perfect solution here. Together with our partner Pitzl GmbH & Co.KG, we have developed a selection of three different elastically decoupled angles that have been tested for sound insulation and are approved for use in structural engineering. The advantages of GEPI angle brackets lie in their versatility, as they are suitable for both wood-to-wood and wood-to-concrete connections. They are characterised by a high safety standard and are ETA-certified. Another benefit is their high performance, which ensures reliable transfer of shear and lifting forces without sound bridges. Why is the NOKIA Arena in Tampere, Finland a special place for us? We are used to dealing with vibration damping and noise reduction. But how do we create a good living and working quality as well as an authentic stadium atmosphere? And all this despite the fact that a railway line runs directly underneath? That is a welcome challenge for the experts at Getzner! Point and strip bearings from Getzner decouple the building from vibrations and thereby ensure first-class working and living quality. Summer at last: cool drinks, passionate chefs and a great atmosphere - that was our barbecue 2024! 🥩 🍻 We were able to organise our much-loved barbecue for all employees again this year. Our grill masters ensured that every taste was tickled with a varied selection of delicacies. In the summer of the European Championships and Olympics, we also organised our own fun competitions for the first time! Afterwards, we celebrated with good music until late into the night. A big thank you to all the helpers for their great support! 💪

How to design a quiet #heatpump? The answer is quite simple: it is the combination of an internal compressor decoupling with elastic bearings of the device itself. The elastic bedding of the compressor unit is the key to reduce noise. Our Isotop® Compact, together with a steel plate for extra weight and the Sylomer® Compressor Grommet (CGR), forms an integrated solution for engineering super silent heat pumps. 🌍 Celebrating the International Day of Sustainability with Getzner Under Sleeper Pads! At Getzner, we committed to advancing sustainable practices in railway engineering. Our polyurethane Under Sleeper Pads for example have a lifespan of decades and offer significant benefits for railway superstructures, also in terms of CO2 emissions. By reducing maintenance needs and associated energy costs, they ultimately more than overcompensate for their initial carbon footprint when considering the full lifecycle. Our impact on sustainability is validated by independent studies. Notably, research conducted by TU Graz highlights these advantages. The main conclusions from these studies can be found in our presentations and at our booth during InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin from 24 to 27 September. 🌟 Exciting Project Update: We are pleased to announce the completion of a major track renewal in Amiens, France! During the 2023-2024 period, SNCF Réseau undertook a comprehensive track renewal project in the Paris and Longueville tunnels, situated between the two Amiens stations. For this significant endeavor, Getzner was selected to provide Under Ballast Mats to ensure superior vibration isolation within the tunnels. This project highlights our ongoing efforts to engineer a quieter future and enhance the quality of rail travel.
