  • "We don't all need to be experts on everything; we just need to surround ourselves with people who are!" – Fi Slaven, one of our incredible panelists at the event. Our July Branch Forum with IPSecure Australia at our brand-new venue, 555 Collins St, was a vibrant mix of insights and networking, bringing together budding professionals and industry experts! With 200 attendees, we delved into the critical role of ICT in today’s challenges, rapid technological advancements, and the increasing demands of regulation and compliance. Guests enjoyed a tour of the new ACS HUB while networking over delicious nibbles and drinks, creating a cosy atmosphere despite the downpour outside. A huge thank you to Mansoor Janjua from IPSecure Australia for the invaluable collaboration, and to our outstanding facilitator, Stephen Zuluaga MACS. We are also immensely grateful to our insightful panelists, Sam Mackenzie AACS and Fi Slaven, and our exceptional emcee for the evening, Dr. Rod Dilnutt FACS FBCS CP. A new report released by ACS (the publisher of Information Age) and The Australian National University's Tech Policy Centre found two-thirds of teachers faced challenges delivering the Digital Technologies Curriculum, while 72 per cent felt they did not receive enough support.
