    every single person deserves to have a positive experience at their local salon and walk out with a haircut that helps them look the way they feel. however, for the lgbtq2s+ community, this is not always the case… and that’s where @thedresscodeproject comes in. this organisation educates salons and staff on how to create a safer space for the lgbtq2s+ community and help clients to express their identity. we’re proud as punch to announce that we have partnered with the dresscode project to donate funds and raise awareness for this important organisation during world pride month in june. what can you do to help? there are currently over 550 gender-affirming dresscode project salons around the world… but there’s still a long way to go to ensure that dresscode project salons are accessible for every member of the lgbtq2s+ community, no matter their postcode. for more on the dresscode project and how to sign on as a gender-affirming salon, head to the link in bio. #evopro

    today is earth day, but at evo, we strive to do the right thing and minimise our impact every day of the year.   we work hard to create quality professional haircare products, but we’ll never do so at the expense of others. here are just some of the ways that we’ve been working to put people and the planet first:   •          kinder packaging: evo bottles are made with pcr (post-consumer recycled) plastic so that we’re producing less virgin plastic. •          plastic bank partnership: every time you purchase a bottle from evo, you’re helping stop ocean-bound plastic pollution while providing collectors with a path out of poverty. •          friends of the forest: we use fsc®(forest stewardship council®) certified recycled paper for our printed materials and hardwood for our brushes. •          carbon footprint: we offset our operational greenhouse gases by purchasing certified carbon credits and utilise solar at the point of manufacturing.
