That’s because, for us, nothing matters more than being loved by our customers. With our 24/7 customer care and digital platforms, we’ve also given customers support round the clock – plus the freedom to do their banking anywhere, anytime. The driving force behind all of this has been simple: our desire to improve our customers’ lives by doing things differently. Everyone here shares the same forward-thinking approach, and a genuine desire to make a difference to the communities we’re part of. If you’re ready to be challenged to achieve your full potential, we are the place to make it happen. Here, you’ll have the freedom to put ideas into action, own the results, collaborate on a global scale – and make a genuine difference to people’s lives. Like to find out more? ING Australia is proud to co-finance the largest 4-hour battery energy storage system in Australia’s national energy market, adding more than 1,660MWh of energy storage to our national energy infrastructure. This battery will store surplus renewable energy to help power communities during times of low sunlight and wind. The $650m debt raise by Akaysha Energy’s Orana is among the largest in the world for battery storage projects. The project will support the growth of solar and wind projects in the renewable energy zone near Wellington, NSW and contribute to Australia’s clean energy transition. Society is transitioning to a low-carbon economy. So are our clients, and so is ING. We finance a lot of sustainable activities, but we still finance more that aren’t. See how we’re progressing on ing.com/climate.

Last week, our Sparks community, who support and advocate for Women in Tech at ING Australia, sponsored a great information and networking event in collaboration with T+O+M Executive. We were delighted to welcome guests to talk about the exciting opportunities in ING Tech as we build the bank of the future. CIO, Linda Da Silva, and the Tech leadership team talked about our strategy around implementing cutting edge technology like AI, the Cloud and global platforms, as well as ING's flexibility at work, our active and much-loved diversity and inclusion communities, and how we strive to create an environment where Women in Tech can thrive. We even had a special opening address from CEO, Melanie Evans and Head of Consumer & Insights and ING Australia's Channel 7 correspondent, Matthew Bowen. Thank you to everyone who attended and to the T+O+M Executive team for their support - the night was a great success! If you’re interested in joining ING Tech, check out the roles we have available: https://lnkd.in/gq5FTVWA
