Years in the making, our state-of-the-art automation system is now live in the Barossa! 🦾🍇 For the last few months, our team has been putting the finishing touches to an integrated automation and barrel handling system. This week, we were proud to officially launch it to representatives from government, the wine industry, and our partners at E80 Group and Nukon. The end-to-end automated system features driverless forklifts, a custom barrel management software system, barrel washing and filling facilities, and individual barrel identification. The $10 million investment represents a world-first in winemaking, bolstering the Barossa Valley’s credentials as one of Australia’s most innovative winemaking regions. Take a look behind the scenes of our robotic reds and hear from our team at the Barossa site 👇 Read more: https://lnkd.in/ggdzftxw #TWE #AustralianWine #Innovation #Sustainability Ashton Hurn, South Australian Wine Industry Association, The Barossa Council, Barossa Australia, Australia China Business Council

What an amazing time we had celebrating NAIDOC Week! With this years’ theme being 'Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud', our Employee Resource Groups, TWE Pride, and TWE Mosaic who support us in creating an inclusive culture for our LGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse team members, teamed up with some of our Melbourne office building mates - Accenture, Pembroke , Google and Emmalee Quinlan - to throw an event full of culture, fun, and community spirit. Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Colin Hunter gave us a powerful Welcome to Country that truly set the tone for the evening. Djiri Djiri Aboriginal Women’s Dance Company gave us a mesmerising performance (with the tots in tow!), and of course, a big shoutout to Cerulean Drag who dazzled us with her stunning performances. We enjoyed delicious Indigenous fusion food from Pawa Catering and Events and Liminal cafe, plus a selection of our own TWE wines. The evening culminated in a stunning piece of art by First Nations artist, Trevor Eastwood, being auctioned off, with proceeds going to BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation. It was inspiring to hear from John Leha, BlaQ's Founding Director and Chair, about the incredible work they do for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+Sisterboy and Brothergirl community.  A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it happen and to everyone who came out to celebrate and support uplifting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and stories. Since 1900, Beaulieu Vineyard has stood as a testament to excellence and innovation in winemaking. Now, we are excited to share that Beaulieu Vineyard is breaking ground this year on a significant renovation that will transform the original property, blending past and present while honoring its longstanding legacy.   Beaulieu Vineyard’s deep history will be front and center, restoring the winery’s original stone buildings, as seen in old photographs, and providing space for an extensive offering of elevated visitor experiences. In keeping with TWE’s global sustainability goals, the property will be renovated with sustainability in mind, supporting our commitment to transition to 100% renewable electricity by the end of this year and carbon neutrality for its operations by 2030.   The renovation is expected to be completed in Spring 2026, and Beaulieu Vineyard’s current Reserve Tasting Room and adjacent Club Lounge will remain open during the project. Bring some colour to your table! We're thrilled to introduce our brand-new Italian lifestyle wine brand, Belorante, to the UK. Inspired by the effortless style, attitude, and vivaciousness of the Italian way, Belorante is all about bringing you a moment of colour and joy, Italian style. Whether it's a dinner party accompaniment or an early evening aperitivo, Belorante's Pecorino and Primitivo varietals are the perfect choice. Now available at Asda and Morrisons stores across the UK. #Belorante #TreasuryPremiumBrands #ItalianWine #ItalianLifestyle #Innovation #Asda #Morrisons #TWEDNA

Last Friday we had the privilege of hosting the Treasury Wine Estates Digital, Data, and Technology team for an off-site at the AWS Office in Melbourne. Kate Whitney, set the tone with an inspiring keynote speech, unveiling the day's purpose and strategic vision. We then explored Amazon’s Culture of Innovation, cutting-edge Supply Chain demand forecasting techniques, and advancements in Data and AI. Throughout the day, our focus remained steadfast on how GenAI empowers Amazon.com to deliver an unparalleled customer experience while fostering efficiency and optimizing costs. We delved into our customer promise, specifically examining how middle mile and last mile analytics contribute to exceeding delivery deadlines. A highlight was engaging in thought-provoking discussions surrounding our Leadership Principles and the mechanisms that accelerate new processes, technologies, and people. To close out the day we heard from Social Scientist Nigel Dalton from Thoughtworks on how companies are evolving and adapting to the new data-powered landscape, and a lucky few experienced the thrill of driving an F1 racing car in our cutting-edge Builder Studio! Our CEO Tim Ford was delighted to visit The Great Hall at Parliament House in Canberra earlier this week to attend the official state reception for Chinese Premier Li Qiang, hosted by Australia’s Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese. Over 300 business and political leaders from across Australia were invited to attend this lunch in honor of the Australia-China relationship. The importance of two-way trade was a key theme of the reception, along with announced changes for those wishing to visit China from Australia. Premier Li’s visit demonstrates the strengthening of relations between China and Australia, along with the resumption of high-level economic dialogue, important steps towards a more stable relationship and a more secure region. #TWE #Australia #China
