Did you know? Since the dawn of agriculture 12,000 years ago, humans have domesticated around 6000 plant species for food 🌱 That's a truly incredible feat! Today, The UWA Institute of Agriculture is celebrating a similar achievement (one that is only *slightly* less historically significant to our very existence on this planet) ... Since the dawn of our LinkedIn four years ago, we have officially reached 6000 followers! 🎉 We want to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic network of researchers, students, farmers, industry members, and everyone in-between. We're so thankful for your meaningful engagement and support for IOA and all we do. There's plenty of exciting events and research announcements on the horizon for us, such as our sold-out 2024 Industry Forum next Wednesday 17 July, our 30th Hector and Andrew Stewart Memorial Lecture led by Dr Ismahane Elouafi on 8 August (register here: https://lnkd.in/g7ifxgYN), the 2024 Shenton Park Field Station Open Day on 13 September (register here: https://lnkd.in/gMSrk8pQ) and much, much more!
