Until 1986, women were not permitted underground or to enter mines in WA. Fast forward to 2022 and according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, there were 45,000 women employed full time in the mining industry in Australia. I am one of those 45,000. Career Fun Day is happening at my daughters school today. Kids go to school dressed as what they want to be when they grow up. I have always told my daughter that education is one of the most important aspects in life as a good education and good grades provides more opportunities and career options when she leaves school. I want her to be able to choose what she wants to do when she leaves school and not be limited. When discussing with her what she wanted to dress up as, she suggested careers like: a Youtuber (so she can play Roblox all day), a Teacher, a Doctor, then a Zoo Keeper (she LOVES Capybaras’). Not once did it cross my mind to limit her choices to typical/historical female type roles. Last night, during a conversation, my father (a retired house builder) commented that he needed help rebuilding a retaining wall as the concrete blocks were quite large and heavy. I offered my assistance to which he replied, “that’s a man’s job”. I was speechless and the look on my face was not a good one. Once I calmed down, I took time to really appreciate the changing perceptions of younger generations (Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y etc) than my fathers (Silent Generation), and that my daughter (Gen Alpha) is growing up knowing that she can do and be anything she wants when she grows up. Hopefully never hearing someone say to her “that’s a man’s job”. I have worked the majority of my career in mining and heavy industry, and over the years have seen more and more gender equality in mining. It is not just a moral imperative, but a fundamental necessity for fostering a fair and inclusive society. Embracing gender equality is a collaborative effort and I commend my daughter’s school for their commitment to dismantle systemic inequalities and create an education system where all kids will grow up thriving based on their merits and talents, rather than their gender. #GenderEquility #WomenInMining

Coal miners. Add your royalties to your coal price for QLD government owned power stations to cover the royalties. This is how it has always been. Added costs, added price. Instead of doing the norm, QLD premier look like a hero at your expense giving all QLD householders a$1,000 electricity rebate. At the end of the day, Queenslanders are smarter than he thinks, they know this premier is just buying votes. The month before, increased all fines in Queensland. Not sure about all the NSW and VIC imports now living in QLD, they seem to be suckers for a freeby. They thought Daniel Andrews and Gladys the NSW boiler were geniuses. Coal miners, “keep your margins” you owe it to your shareholders, the superfunds and mum and dad investors. If the country you were sending coal to increased tarrifs you would out the price up so why not to the buyer who owns the power station ( Queensland Government) wants go steal your coal, to make the Premier and his band of incapables look good. Give as good as you take, or have you all gone weak at the knees. Where is the Queensland Resources Council? Not standing up to thugs any more? The Premier just handed your “margins away as gifts” as an election gimmick and all coal miners, stand there like a wet kid that just got out of the shower. Mummy!! The massive royalties are just the tip Of the iceberg. This labor government cannot manage the state increased royalties prove it. It’s a glaring FALSE ECONOMY It’s all over if we let Queensland’s own Daniel Andrews get another term. It’s gunna be Deja-Vu.

Coverage stock Warriedar Resources Ltd (ASX: WA8) has released further significant assay results from drilling at the Ricciardo deposit within its Golden Range Project, in Western Australia's Murchison region. Results from an additional six RC holes have all intersected significant gold intervals - including 8m @ 11.40 g/t Au from 166m (incl. 3m @ 22.38 g/t Au from 167m (RDRC041) and 8m @ 2.63 g/t Au from 160m (RDRC034). The results have extended the high-grade shoot below the Silverstone pit and broadened the known high-grade mineralisation envelope. The results demonstrate the outstanding Mineral Resource growth potential that exists at Ricciardo and along the broader ‘Golden Corridor’ trend. Ricciardo sits in the middle of the 25km-long ‘Golden Corridor’ at Golden Range, which hosts six discrete deposits (18 historic pits) that are all open at depth and possess immediate growth potential. Assays from a residual three (3) RC holes beneath the Ardmore pit (at Ricciardo) are pending, with results anticipated within the next two weeks. The Ricciardo deposit remains open along strike and at depth, with further growth-focused drilling set to commence this quarter. We are pleased to announce positive results from the #first diamond drill hole of our 2024 #explorationprogram. For EU, WTO, WHO to recognise there are breaches ie. dirty / blood nickel (??) 3. State and Federal Australian governments to further support the WA Nickel industry 4. WA traditional resource investors Japanese and Korean partners to build on the value chain which commenced in the 1950’s 5. Nimble, smart lean WA Junior Nickel players (ie. Ardea, Lunnin) to engineer a solution backed by WA PE (RCF, Wyloo?) to revive the WA Nickel sector. Kingfisher Mining Limited Ltd (ASX:KFM) made good progress during the March quarter on #criticalmineralsexploration in the Gascoyne Mineral Field of Western Australia, a region known for its rich mineral potential. The company made multiple high-grade discoveries of #rareearthelements (#REE) at its Mick Well Project, where it also advanced heritage clearances, and progressed #lithiumexploration efforts at its Chalby Chalby Lithium Project. Both projects are part of Kingfisher's extensive 938-square-kilometre Gascoyne tenement, which stretches 54 kilometres along the crustal-scale Chalba Shear Zone. The recipe for being popular in Australia right now is to run a surplus, to keep the Opposition shut up about fiscal rectitude, and then fight inflation-caused cost of living pressures by spending that surplus on...energy rebates. I say inflation-caused loosely, because corporatocracy-entrenched energy policy that explicitly works to concentrate market power into regulatory capture regimes, which inevitably results in more extravagant concentration of generation power into fewer and fewer corporate 'base-load' generators (or, next decade, grid scale renewables and battery backups owned by corporates and funds), versus pushing generation and storage down to atomised levels of households, microgrids and technology solutions like V2G, distributed grids, demand management, etc. Inflation has little to do with energy costs; energy costs cause inflation. But anyway, energy rebates are simple populism, but entrench energy inefficient behaviors, delaying renewable grid transitions, offsetting costs of inefficient behavior or household infrastructure, and entrenching high energy use into the built environment and energy use expectations. Perfect for the corporatocracy when the surpluses end.

The 2024 winter drilling program at Trinex Minerals Limited's Gibbons Creek Uranium Project, was designed to test for continuity of #uranium mineralisation. The recent assay results and downhole probe readings confirm the presence of anomalous uranium at the Airstrip Prospect which intersected uranium mineralisation in two areas located 500 metres apart within this target area. Further drilling at the Project is planned for the 2024 Canadian Summer to search for fault offsets in the area of GC24-04, which can act as structural traps for the deposition of uranium mineralisation. The interpreted extension of the south west trending structure that appears to be associated with mineralisation at the Airstrip Prospect extends through to the Butler Lake Target, increasing the prospectivity of the area. This mega deal goes ahead, will Kumba majority stake be up for grabs or first right of refusal will kick in for current shareholders? I don't see BHP being interested the iron ore, nikel, platinum or diamond assets. They would be more interested in the copper assets and coking coal assets.
