Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik Group - the world's leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services as well as modifications to the civil aviation industry. With tailor-made maintenance programs and advanced repair techniques, we ensure the reliability and availability of our customers' aircraft fleets. Tasks
- Responsible for material management & logistics performance, goal achievement, and cost-effective solutions.
- Actively manage inventory and develop planning models.
- Establish strategic approach for customers and suppliers, including definition of processes and KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Ensure smooth cooperation between Material management & logistics and Production units.
- Perform tenders and negotiations with external suppliers.
- Accountable for new process integration and implementation and strategic roadmap milestones.
- Monitor and control budget, capacity planning, and procurement quality standards.
- Lead and develop teams, supporting their training, coaching and development.
- Manage multidimensional projects. Report results, purchasing volume, and savings.

- University degree in relevant area with focus on logistics and supply chain
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management and strong expertise in the area
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- Experience in an international environment and virtual teams
