Identifies and selects appropriate transport model(s) and plans transport routes to minimize costs whilst meeting service requirements;
Negotiates contracts and pricing agreements for transportation and logistics services;
Ensures shipments are sent on time and according to defined plan and schedule;
Prepares administrative transportation documentation. Fulfils shipping, packing and marking procedures per project requirements;
Liaises with forwarders for freight quotes, documentation, and delivery.
Participates in local/regional projects as required;
Ensures product packing availability and controls the quality of the packing process;
Support production on BI packing, packing and shipping of spare parts;
Your Background
A Bachelor or Master’s degree;
Experience in similar position is an advantage;
Good level of written and verbal communication in English;
Good knowledge of MS Office package (MS Excel, MS, Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook);
Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is an advantage;
Good time management and task prioritization;
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies;
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
