The Opportunity

Responsible for planning, managing and controlling production, aiming at achieving the production volume defined in the plan within the quality standards and defined budget.

Comply with all standards, programs and guidelines for Environmental Sustainability, Health and Safety – SASS, including the correct use of PPE – Personal Protective Equipment and also comply with all GMP standards and programs.

Your Impact

- Set and lead delivery of a clear vision for the site within the framework of our Manufacturing Strategy;

- Deliver flawlessly against the agreed safety, quality, service, health, sustainability and people commitments;

- Develop the skills within the team to deliver the continuously improving standards of PepsiCo, keeping a keen eye for the development for talent that can move beyond the site;

- Develop ahead of plan initiatives to ensure the delivery of a balanced scorecard in the face of unexpected events;

- Build the local employer brand (ensuring strong community links and stakeholder support);

- Deliver financial AOP targets across and identify above plan opportunities to deliver financial gains;

- Develop and deliver a people strategy to drive positive employee regard, strong front line capability and a KPI/ continuous improvement culture;

- Demonstrate personal leadership on the people agenda through delivery of inspiring employee communication and building strong involvement mechanisms;

- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, achieving above industry norms performance via compliance to internal strategy and legislative requirements;

- Ensure that business change is flawlessly executed;

- Coach and develop the senior team/direct reports to achieve their potential through effective career development discussions;

- A key member of Leadership team – influencing site agenda and ensuring consistency of approach / best practice development.


Who Are We Looking For?

- Significant Ops leadership experience, ideally including QCDM, LEAN manufacturing;

- English advanced/fluent;

- Experience of financial management;

- Strategic thinking, great analytical, relationship skills and excellent stakeholder management;

- Strong people leadership and development skills including ability to lead teams through cultural change;

- Proven ability to balance short term tactical versus longer term strategic priorities;

- Resilient individual, with flexible, upbeat and positive attitude;

- Demonstrated drive for results and a can do attitude. Leverages a keen understanding of key business drivers in own area to get results and facilitate change;

- Clearly demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, empower and coach a large team consisting of managers, staff and frontline colleagues;

- A demonstrated ability to define a long-term plan and translate through to excellent execution.

- Ability to work independently is key in this role given the distance from other operating centres and infrequent contact with Manager
