IALPA pilots in Aer Lingus have voted overwhelmingly to accept the pay proposal recommended by the Labour Court. Pilot salaries will be 19% higher in Aer Lingus by the end of the last pay increase applied. IFALPA President Captain Amornvaj Mansumitchai participated in the European Cockpit Association (ECA) Conference this week, alongside representatives from our Member Associations across Europe. ALPA-I President, Captain Jason Ambrosi, also contributed insights from the United States, offering valuable comparisons. The Conference addressed key issues currently affecting European pilots such as GPS spoofing/jamming and cybersecurity measures, reframing the pilot shortage and possible solutions, pilot mental health and wellbeing, and the ongoing threat of Reduced Crew Operations.
