The focus of our $40 million renovation is to showcase the old-world charm and vibrancy of Toronto with a complete transformation of our spacious guest rooms, meeting space, lobby, restaurant and bar. While combining modern comfort and elegance, we are excited to have restored the legendary hotel to palace-like grandeur. The hotel is conveniently located in the financial, entertainment and shopping districts, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Sony Centre, The Distillery District, Eaton Centre and the St. Lawrence Farmers Market. Our 301 oversized guestrooms and suites have recently been renovated, combining sophistication with modern amenities. It truly redefines luxury for our most discerning travelers. Accommodations in this iconic hotel feature the finest in furnishings, custom bedding and vintage crown moldings, all with impeccably appointed marble bathrooms perfecting every aspect of the guest experience at this legendary destination. Both dining establishments, namely Victoria’s Restaurant and Consort Bar, were included in the revitalization process at The Omni King Edward Hotel. Executive Chef Daniel Schick and his culinary team have updated the dining menus to include local, seasonal ingredients and classic cooking methods. The hotel’s long-standing tradition of Afternoon Tea – a favourite activity of families and people-watchers since the turn of the 20th century - will continue Friday through Sunday.

Our recent leadership team outing to an escape room was more than just a fun experience—it was a powerful catalyst for strengthening our teamwork and fostering deeper bonds. As we tackled intricate puzzles and challenges together, we saw firsthand how thinking outside the box and leveraging each other's strengths led to remarkable breakthroughs. It was inspiring to witness the creativity that emerged as we worked towards a common goal. #WeEscaped #KingEdwardHotel #OmniKingEdward #PowerOfAll #ALLIN

National Beatles Day is a perfect opportunity to reminisce about the iconic band's history and their connection to the Omni King Edward Hotel. In September 1964, during their first visit to Toronto, The Beatles stayed at the Omni King Edward Hotel in the Royal Suite. Our historic hotel, known for its elegance and old-world charm, became a temporary home for the Fab Four during their stay in the city. During their time at the King Edward Hotel, The Beatles experienced both the adoration of their fans and the challenges of managing their overwhelming fame. Their stay coincided with their legendary performance at Maple Leaf Gardens, where thousands of screaming fans gathered to catch a glimpse of their idols. In May 1969, the King Edward Hotel made international Beatles headlines again with the arrival of John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their famous bed-in-for-peace tour where they gave a press conference in the same suite John had stayed in with the Beatles a few years earlier. The Beatles' presence at the Omni King Edward Hotel is a cherished piece of music history, marking a moment when the band's global phenomenon intersected with Toronto's vibrant cultural scene. Today, fans and enthusiasts can visit the hotel and imagine the excitement that filled its halls during that unforgettable era. #NationalBeatlesDay #Beatles #BeatlesMania #OmniKingEdward #AtTheOmni #KingEdwardHotel

🏨✨ The Omni King Edward in the 1920s! 🌆 The King Eddy, as fondly known by locals, ignited the spirit of the roaring twenties with its grandeur and innovation. Witnessing the city's evolution, it proudly stood as a symbol of progress and sophistication. In a time when towering skyscrapers now dominate the skyline, it's easy to overlook the significance of the 18-story addition that graced King and Leader Lane. Yet, rewind to the early 1920s, and this majestic structure reigned as one of Toronto's tallest buildings, casting a captivating spell over King Street East and the city's horizon.
