In many parts of the world, individuals endure serious human rights abuses due to their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics. LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers face discrimination, obstacles in access to employment, education, safe housing and healthcare during displacement and integration in host communities.
