We got a grant! If you missed our #news yesterday - we are happy to share that the Government of #Quebec has awarded #RFR up to $262,500 (representing the maximum 50% of projected costs) to commence metallurgical work on our wholly owned ~20km long Victoria poly metallic mineralized structure! This body contains #nickel, #zinc, #cobalt, #copper and the precious Pt/Pd/Ag/Au metals as well! Ultimately we are working towards a processing flow sheet, including investigation of whether we will be using a heap leach or we can pre-concentrate to grind and float. Exciting days! Thankful the government is supporting us as part of their Programme de soutien à l'exploration minière pour les minéraux critiques et stratégiques (MCS). This program comes from the Plan québécois pour la valorisation des MCS 2020-2025. Moving this investigation earlier into our exploration/development process at Victoria significantly de-risks the project from a future parent perspective, and validates our continued focus on this asset. Did you see the #pressrelease for #RFR yesterday? Essentially our work at Beaupre delivered excellent results, the stripping we did was quite helpful in giving us more mineralization and some spectacular occurrences of semi-massive #copper! The entire extent of the stripping shows the main vein, which pinches and swells, to the south stockwork was revealed, which is new. Equally successful was some limited prospecting at our Parbec #gold deposit, the diorite was found outcropping where it should be to support our new interp, which opens up the Pontiac part of the property as highly prospective. All in all very good results from some very cost effective boots on the ground work.

Essentially while we knew we had #gold #platinum and #palladium from surface samples tested in the ~20km Victoria MMZ on our wholly owned ~300 sq km Malartic Metals Package in Quebec, we had not tested any of our ~10,000m of core from drilling off ~2.5km of strike. So we tested the core. If you look up the PR it is interesting, the relatively low values of PGEs from the initial testing (we will now do follow up/ongoing work in this regard) does add up to ~.5% to the overall NiEq grade we calculate (Ni/Co/Pt/Pd/Zn/Cu/Ag/Au/Cr) from our basket of largely critical minerals. Follow us as we work towards Quebec's next open pit critical minerals mine - we are not there yet (to be clear) but we are on the road to it!

Here is a quick update on one of the things which has been going on at Renforth recently. Perhaps not super exciting, but very helpful, our geologists selected the mineralized sections from our ~10,000m drilled into the 2.5km of the ~20km long Victoria Multi Metals Zone on our wholly owned ~300 sq km Malartic Metals Package property and racked the mineralization in core racks newly installed in our core farm. This is actually important, as we can now easily access the mineralized zones for future inspection if someone wants to see them, relogging if we are isolating specific features and resampling if we want to take the witness core, or part of it, for additional assay work. I should say, the boxes contain one half of the tubular core that results from our drilling. The core is cut or split in half, with one half sent for initial assay, the other half kept as the "witness" core....I will have to do another post showing you that. We have started modelling our ~20km long Victoria polymetallic structure on our wholly owned Malartic Metals Package! Early days yet but fun to see an image, so sharing. This is the ultramafic body over the ~2.2km we are working on beside the road in the centre of the property.
