At Sign In Solutions we get to work with some of the coolest people in visitor management 😎 So, we figured we'd take time to introduce you to some of the AWESOME people who help make this company what it is. This week we talked to Chuck Richter who is a Senior Solutions Consultant for our enterprise products 👇 🤱 How would your mom describe your job to her friends? Even though I explained to my mom my past and present jobs in tech she really never understood it. She got her first smart phone when she was in her 60's and would call me all the time asking for help trying to use it. 💼 And what is it you actually do? I help our customers build out their Visitor Management platform so they can sign in visitors, alert hosts, track movements and capture relevant data which could dictate where they're allowed to go within the facility and what type of badge is printed out for them. ❤️ What is the best part about your job at Sign In Solutions? I love working with and getting to know our customers. I have had an amazing experience so much that I've become friends with so many of our enterprise admins outside of work after their engagement with our professional services team has ended. I also love working with our team in general. Everyone has been so helpful over the past 4 1/2 years. Team work makes the dream work! 🌎 Where is your favorite place to work from? I love my office at home here in the Nashville. I have a view of our luscious green landscape and farm. But I do miss our old office in Seattle, WA. It was on Pier 55 right on the water. Those views were amazing. I also love working from our house in Florida when I'm visiting there. 🏢 What is your primary reason for coming to the office? Unfortunately there isn't an office close to my location. I would love to visit the St. Pete, Charlotte and Vancouver offices someday to work alongside our team and get to know them better during my visit. 🎸🎶 What would be the best song to pop up on the office radio on Monday morning? I love the Shaft Theme song by Issac Hayes. That would be my pop up office song as I rolled into work or my walk-up baseball song as I walked up to the plate. Want to work with Chuck? Anywhere I can sleep in to 8 am. 🏢 What is your primary reason for coming to the office? This week we talked to Ffion Tunbridge who is a Paralegal & Compliance Assistant, and works from our Northampton office (and sometimes from home as well) 👇 🤱 How would your mom describe your job to her friends? She would say I work in-house at a tech company. 💼 And what is it you actually do? I am a Paralegal and Compliance Assistant. This involves reviewing contracts, answering questions our customers have on data protection, privacy and IT security, compiling evidence for audits and keeping up to date with any new legislation or changes to the law. ❤️ What is the best part about your job at Sign In Solutions? I get to work on a range of matters and with a lot of different departments to ensure that we are providing the best solutions to our customers. 🌎 Where is your favorite place to work from? I mostly work from our Waterside Hub Office in Northampton. Recently, I got to visit our Copenhagen office - which was amazing! 🏢 What is your primary reason for coming to the office? Well, I asked her how she would describe my job. Her answer: "What job?" 💼 And what is it you actually do? My title is Training Content Manager, and that typically involves creating and updating written and video materials for our knowledge base and campus program. ❤️ What is the best part about your job at Sign In Solutions? I have a lot of leeway to be creative in what I put out into the world which ends up being really freeing and satisfying when it works. It's just a shame I don't have a creative bone in my body. 🌎 Where is your favorite place to work from? My home office has been pretty well setup as a makeshift studio for recording campus vids. I'm telling y'all, having a standing desk with my custom pre-set to be at 'video recording height' is no joke. 🏢 What is your primary reason for coming to the office? The home office is where I get the bulk of my content made. The office office is where I sync up with colleagues about product updates and topics that customers may find helpful. As well, I go into the office in hopes that someone brings in donuts. If someone says they'll bring a treat to the office, I 100% hope it's Krispy Kreme. There's only one location in the city far away from me and I don't have a car. This is the only way I'll be able to get it. Ability to handle different visitor types Every visitor is different, why they show up is different, and what you need to know about them is different. 2.
