Hats off to our incredible Greyshirt volunteers who went above and beyond to prepare Camp des Voyageurs for an unforgettable summer! Thanks to your dedication, kids are in for a truly memorable camp experience. From tackling winter debris to meticulously raking the play area, every effort made an impact. But this service project was about more than just sprucing up the grounds—it was an opportunity for our Greyshirts to hone their disaster response skills while building deeper connections within the community. Here’s to many more years of teamwork, camaraderie, and adventures at Tim Hortons Foundation Camps! Help make our Mission Possible! Tim Hortons is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the very first Tims restaurant opening its doors, which took place on May 17, 1964 in Hamilton, Ont. "Today we're celebrating all the special connections we've made with Canadians since our founder Tim Horton opened his first restaurant 60 years ago. Tim had a vision to create a place where anyone could go at anytime and feel at home and that continues to be a core part of our mission today," said Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons. "We want to thank our guests for making us a part of their lives day after day, year after year, and decade after decade. We also want to thank our restaurant owners and their team members for their daily dedication and pride in upholding the high standards of what Canadians love and expect from us while on their Tims Run." Tim Hortons is proud of its history of partnering with Tims restaurant owners to support communities. In addition to Camp Day's incredible impact, the Smile Cookie campaign has raised more than $129 million since 1996 for local charities and community groups, and Timbits Sports – which first launched in 1982 – supports hundreds of thousands of kids every year with opportunities to play house league hockey and soccer. Tims has also proudly supported Special Olympics Canada since 2016 and launched the Orange Sprinkle Donut in 2021 to support Indigenous charities. "We believe a key part of what makes us Canada's most-loved restaurant brand and why we're considered to be the most Canadian brand is our commitment to supporting every community where we serve, and we could not be more proud of the impact of Tims restaurant owners in their local communities," said Schwan.

  • Thank you Tim Hortons for bringing smiles to underserved youth across North America ❤️💙💕

Tim Hortons annual Smile Cookie campaign is back starting today through May 5 with 100 per cent of proceeds supporting over 600 charities and community groups selected by local Tim Hortons restaurant owners. Guests can support a local charity or community group by purchasing Smile Cookies or one of four adorable Smile Cookie personality pins: the Loopy, Bugsy, Starry and Squirmy Smile Cookie pins. The first Smile Cookie campaign launched in 1996 by local Tims restaurant owners in Hamilton, originally raising funds for Hamilton Children's Hospital. Since then, the annual charitable campaign has raised a total of more than $111 million across Canada and the United States for charities and organizations. Recipients include local hospitals, community care organizations, food banks and schools. To participate in this year's Smile Cookie campaign, guests can visit their local Tim Hortons or place an order through the Tim Hortons mobile app for delivery. Guests can also ask for a bulk order form at their local Tim Hortons restaurant for larger pre-orders. We are proud to share that $9.8 million was raised during the first-ever national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign! The funds raised from coast to coast to coast are being donated to over 600 local charities and community groups that are being supported by Smile Cookies for the first time, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Thank you to very Tims owner, team member and volunteer who baked and hand decorated each Holiday Smile Cookie. And a huge congratulations to Tims owners Nicolas Fortin and Émilie Truchon in Alma, Quebec who sold the most Holiday Smile Cookies in Canada: over 19,850!
