The territory’s hospital system is looking for an experienced, progressive and challenge-oriented executive leader on interim basis to lead the organization, people and teams delivering safe and excellent hospital care in a dynamic operational environment and period of system change and transition. Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will advance commitments to Truth and Reconciliation, Decolonization and Indigenization, our people and teams, the people we care for and our communities; and, resiliency, sustainability and integration. Health human resources, service continuity and sustainability, and health system transformation are key strategic focus areas. As the territory’s health system evolves, our CEO will lead the hospitals’ operations as well as the change required to integrate and transition into a new Yukon health authority over the next 18 months. October 2024-March 2026 (term anticipated). Expression of Interest will be open until filled.
