What does a product demonstrator do?
ALWAYS focus on distinctive competencies! A product demo very quickly starts sounding like "also ran" when the demonstrator talks about everything that the competition is already doing. Talk about why you are First, Best, and/or Only to do something that matters to your audience segment!

What does a product demonstrator do?
In my experience, the most important skill is storytelling. A product demo that is mostly technical/devoid of a story around how the product solves buyer/use problems sounds like this: Click Here => Go to this page => et voila....it's BORING and 100% of the time will not generate engagement, Instead, tie every action to how it helps solve a user's tactical challenge or drive buy's strategic goals. For example, an ML model that recommends actionable steps could be linked to how it helps save buyers $$/reduce cost, improves employee engagement, etc. For users, it could be about convenience/ease of use and time-saving.

You’re conducting market research. How can you get the most valuable insights from focus groups?
In my experience, this is the most important step where you must address the Wats In It For Me (WIFM) of the participants to drive engagement. Educate the participants before they confirm participation, during the sessions, and after the session has ended. Sometimes the participants feel pressured to participate as they have an excellent relationship with the Sales Rep/Customer Success Manager. The PM/PMM needs to enable the internal teams (Sales/Customer Success) with a talk track about how the discussion relates to solving a pain point that the customers face in their role. If the sessions include a product demo, enable the team with a demo talk track built on a storytelling approach (rather than click here/there..do this/that).
