Driving Traceability in the Rubber Industry! Excited to announce our collaboration with JLB Expertises for the creation of a smallholder rubber traceability protocol! Only through partnership on the ground with farmer organizations like ECAM MEAGUI OFFICIEL and processors such as ASAF RUBBER INDUSTRY can we ensure truly transparent supply chains that create value for farmers! #Traceability #EUDR #Rubber Fanny Salas Marianne Baker Maël Bertet ASSATA DOUMBIA Martin Rossi Renzo Verne Sathiya (Sath) Muthiah Riaz Altaff Hussien Jack Li
#Traçabilité #Hévéa #CôtedIvoire #Durabilité COCOASOURCE OCEAN SA JLB Expertises Alexandre KOUAKOU Fanny Salas Marianne Baker Maël Bertet Renzo Verne Martin Rossi ________________________________________ JLB Expertises is proud to announce the launch of a new collaboration with COCOASOURCE. In partnership with the cooperative ECAM MEAGUI OFFICIEL and the processor ASAF RUBBER INDUSTRY, we will be working on the creation of a traceability protocol for smallholders in the rubber sector in Côte d'Ivoire. This protocol will support stakeholders in the sector to meet the first-mile traceability requirements necessary to comply with the EU regulation on deforestation-free products (EUDR). Tires – and other products derived from natural rubber – are one of the products in scope of this new EU regulation. For rubber to continue accessing European markets, it will be essential for the industry to demonstrate that its production has not led to deforestation nor forest degradation, requiring a robust traceability system down to farm level. We look forward to contributing to this crucial initiative! #Traceability #Rubber #IvoryCoast #Sustainability COCOASOURCE OCEAN SA JLB Expertises Alexandre KOUAKOU Fanny Salas Marianne Baker Maël Bertet Renzo Verne Martin Rossi

Building on our cocoa supply chain digitalization experience - we are excited to share that we are partnering with Farmforce to commence the digitalization of our Ivory Coast-based rubber supply chain. Transparency is a key step towards alignment with EUDR legislation – but of course we need transparency for much more than just compliance! We are working towards building direct supply chains that link farmers to end users and create real value for all along the supply chain – it will take some time but we are firmly on this journey towards de-commoditization of agriculture products! We will be partnering with our cooperative partner on the ground @ECAM-hevea to build first-mile traceability with Farmforce acting as our digital backbone. We’ll be collecting farm-level data, mapping farm GPS polygons, and tracking all physical transactions of the agriculture products at origin – and ultimately connecting this to leading tire manufacturers. Looking forward to the collaboration!
