Happy Friday! With many locations around the world, we love it when our colleagues share their local flavors like Ancel did here😊 Thanks for sharing your experience with local food cultures from different countries where you have worked at JTI. #localculture #happyfriday #lifeatjti
Happy Friday, What will you be doing for Lunch today? At some point during your day, you'll need to have a lunch break. I've been lucky enough to have "lunch" in a few different parts of the world. At JTI Dubai we used to visit the closest restaurant or dinery for the occasional team lunch. In JTI Bangladesh, a restaurant or the occasionally home cooked meal of mutton, chicken, rice or rotti delivered to the regional depot. JTI Tanzania we'd have lunch from the factory delivered to the admin office. What makes JTI South Africa different? In some parts of the world, it is called a barbeque but, to South Africans, barbeque is a sauce we use to add flavor to our meat. In SA we refer to the preparation of the meal as a braai, “pr. (br-eye)”. This is what makes South Africa unique, sometimes, during work hours, we braai as a lunch option. This is just one of the things that makes working at JTI unique, it’s our culture. Click on “like” or “share” if you’ve experienced this South Africa culture or let me know what your lunch experience is in the comment section below ……… #LifeAtJTI
