This camera is great to use to watch my dog and cats when Im not home. Everything works as expected. I really love that I dont have to pay a monthly fee to view playbacks and record. I just use and SD card. I did have to update the firmware on the camera a couple of times and then reset it to get it to finally detect the card had been inserted. Works great! The app is easy to use and not annoying with pestering to you upgrade. I already bought the outside camera to go with it for the simplicity. I'll continue to add on

The quality of the image is superb and the night vision is clear as a bell. Easy install and a breeze getting it online both on the phone with the app and on the computer. It does delay a little in the sweep, but continues to capture all motion as it does move with motion. It's a good, trustworthy addition to home security.

This upgraded version over the past one that is identical to it has the microphone option where you don’t have to push to speak, and it automatically picks up your voice, the problem with this is background noise easily can be mistaken for voice, so in the past, you could press the button and speak and then go over the button and wait for a response, now it’s kind of like Live talking still only one person can talk at once otherwise the sound will be distorted for both parties ,, That being said for the price, this is a great option whether it’s going into a child’s room, dog room, or garage,

I bought this in anticipation for a weekend away and wanted to keep an eye on my cat. Unfortunately, I wrongly anticipated that it would a piece cake to set up, so I waited to the last minute only to find, someone's email and phone number was registered. I tried to override it, but we had to leave. I thought I'd handle it when we get back. Nope, we have been on a couple more trips since then, I thought I had placed it back in the box, but it wasn't there. I asked my husband if he had seen it, he didn't know what I was talking about. I guess the cat hid it!

This was very affordable, which made me question the performance. However, EZVIZ has run our household cameras for over 6 years now without a single camera failing - and this looks to join that level of service. Great camera, solid night vision, two way voice works great. The performance is easily that of a much, much more expensive camera. Just be sure to pick up an SD card as it doesn't come with one.
