Location:Wesseling(Koln) Onsite Project Coordinator (Project Manager) Job Description: Basic Requirements: Ø Bachelor or Masters Engineering Degree in Engineering (preferably in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil & Structural) Ø 20+ years’ experience Domain experience from Chemical or Petrochemical industries or Refinery with very well command over German Language Ø Experienced Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in various phases of project life cycle. Ø Experience in plant engineering and project management activities for Concept study, Feasibility, Basic, FEL, FEED, DED Ø Experience in Plant Capital or expense projects, Plant Maintenance or reliability or sustenance, revamps, modification projects. Experience of client engagement for Management of Change (MOC) type of projects- CAPITAL & EXPENSE Ø Strong engineering professional skilled in estimating, planning, monitoring, executing, and commissioning Ø Basic understanding of multiple disciplines requirements (i.e. Process, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation) and provide inputs to the offshore team at Vadodara, India from site. Ø Onsite coordination with all stakeholders incl. suppliers/vendor, agencies/ contractor etc. Ø Site coordination for inputs and providing mark-up on layouts/drawings to offshore team Ø Review /preparation of Equipment datasheets & specifications and RFQ and aligning with Client. Ø Support in preparation of project schedule and aligning with Client Ø Preparation of Tender document/SOW document Ø Floating of enquiries, vendor offer review and preparation of TBA and supporting client in finalization of vendors Ø Follow-up vendors for deliveries, conducting FAT/SAT Ø Project execution including coordination with Site team, vendors and contractors for installation and commissioning Skills: Ø Extensive client and stakeholder management e.g., ability to build relationships with clients, a customer-oriented mindset. Ø Planning, implementing, monitoring and coordination of various aspects of a Project Life Cycle Ø Excellent multitasking, problem solving and good analytical skills Independent as well as team working capabilities and a quick learner Ø Hands-on experience with onsite-offshore coordination work. Ø Interpersonal skills, e.g., ability to work well with others. Ø Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ø Creativity and innovation skills. Ø An organized approach to work e.g. attention to details, Patience, Strong work ethic. Ø Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ø Stakeholder management skills e.g., ability to build relationships with clients, a customer-oriented mindset.
