Making effective and successful decisions is key to reach our goals and improve our quality of life. However, when we’re too hyper-focused on a desired outcome, we might fail to consider a decision’s risks and alternatives, as well as our own principles. If we want to get better at decision-making, we need to view it as a holistic process that requires understanding a problem, analyzing potential solutions, and realizing the decision you pursued. So, how do we go about making decisions in a confident manner? The first step to deciding is thoroughly understanding your situation and what you want to achieve. This will require extensive research and seeking out the advice of more experienced peers. Afterwards, make a list of potential solutions and investigate each of their pros and cons. Once you've evaluated your options, it's time to make your decision—ideally one with low risk, a high chance of success, and is consistent with your values. Lastly, reflect on your decision by reviewing both the results and the context leading up to the decision. At INVENSITY, our talents make bold and effective decisions not just in their projects but also in their personal lives. Part of what enables them to do so is their value of responsibility. By being accountable for the results of their actions, they are able to build trust with clients and fellow colleagues – creating greater impact through the strong relationships built. 👉 To learn more about starting your career as a technology consultant, check out our career website (link in comments). #career #careergrowth #confidence #decisionmaking #responsibility

It is easy to feel content with your situation when you’re already used to a routine or don’t feel confident in your ability to change things. Though this may give us temporary comfort, we lose out on opportunities to vastly improve our environment. We deny a potential version of ourselves that is more independent, self-assured, and positive about life. More importantly, we ignore our duty to take over responsibility for ourselves and others. So, what steps can you take to become the person you aspire to be, create the ideal environment for yourself and help others to be successful? The best way to do so is by following the concept of self-leadership with the element of proactivity at its core – the conscious act of changing your circumstances for the better. To build a proactive mindset, it’s important to reflect on your long-term goals and if you’re taking an active role to achieve this. From there, you can spot and address issues in your work or personal life, whether they are occurring or might occur. This approach creates a positive feedback loop where solving problems builds your knowledge and confidence, making you more forward-thinking and open to growth opportunities. For our technology consultants, the sense of proactivity is instilled in them early on. With their freedom to choose the projects that pique their interest, as well as collaborate with colleagues from whom they can learn, they are able to build a set of influences that positively impact their growth – manifesting a version of themselves that they feel proud of. 👉 To learn more about starting your career as a technology consultant, check out our career website (link in comments). #career #careergrowth #leadership #growth #proactivity

Over the years, INVENSITY has proudly sponsored BCN eMotorsport, providing the team with specialized training and coaching sessions on leadership, project management, systems engineering, problem-solving, and more. The Formula Student team from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona is well-known for designing and producing electric autonomous and driverless vehicles. In Formula E competitions, their success hinges not only on cutting-edge innovation and engineering, but also on efficient teamwork. This year, Leadership Expert Daniel Pfeifer and Technology Consultant Tove Josefsson have provided invaluable training in leadership and project management, respectively. Jordi Cunillera Reinal, who leads the Formula Student team, shares his insights about the training sessions with INVENSITY: “We have greatly benefited from the training by applying efficient problem-solving techniques to tackle daily challenges. A significant advantage of the project management training has been the integration of KPI systems to measure our objectives. Meanwhile, the leadership session has equipped the team with the values and skills necessary to excel as leaders in a collaborative project." This season, the team introduces the CAT16x, the third single-seater of Generation X. This model can be operated both autonomously and with a driver, showcasing the natural evolution of its predecessor while incorporating substantial improvements. The Formula Student team's competition season is underway, and the CAT16x will compete at the following events: 🏁 Red Bull Ring in Austria (July 21-25) 🏁 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain (August 1-7) 🏁 Hockenheimring in Germany (August 12-18) If your organization is also interested in trainings sessions on social skills or technical topics, get in touch with us or Daniel Pfeifer directly. 🤝 There are no winners or losers in principled negotiations, only successful outcomes! On June 13, our colleague André Weismüller successfully conducted a workshop at the Munich University of Applied Sciences for HOKO Weeks 2024. In his workshop, he discussed and provided practical insights on the Harvard concept of Negotiation – a negotiation approach that focuses on interests rather than positions. Thank you to HOKO® - HOCHSCHULKONTAKTMESSE for having us conduct this workshop. We were thrilled to impart knowledge on students, helping them level up their negotiation skills for university, work, and their personal life. If you were unable to attend but are still interested in meeting us or learning more about a career as a technology consultant, visit our career website (link in the comments) and get in touch with us! #career #workshop #inspiration #leadership #negotiation

On June 27 at 10:00-11:00 AM German time, we will be hosting a webinar on integrating cybersecurity into the ASPICE® framework. The event is free of charge and will be conducted in German. In this webinar, our Head of Process Transformation Gabriel Krämer and Head of Cybersecurity Shaghayegh Fereidoonipour will discuss the critical role of cybersecurity in automotive systems and software development. They will explain how ASPICE® enhances security protocols and provide practical examples of cybersecurity's impact on quality and compliance. At the end of the discussion, participants can ask questions to our cybersecurity and ASPICE® experts. As vehicles become more connected and their software systems more complex, their vulnerability to errors and cyberthreats increases. Because of this, the intersection of cybersecurity and automotive software standards, like ISO 21434, are significant in resolving this issue. To register for the event, check out the link in the comments section. You may also approach Gabriel Krämer for more details. #technology #innovation #automotive #ASPICE #cybersecurity
