External Freelance Lecturer for Scientific Writing (m, f, d)

The teaching load comprises 3 SWS (Teaching units)

The opportunity:

To become a freelance lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

- Implementation of the course (teaching language: English), in particular:

• Introduction to Scientific Writing; Structure of Scientific Papers; APA Style and Formatting; Citing Sources and References; Alternative Scientific Writing Formats; Peer Review and Feedback

- Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement; Weekly assignments should be submitted on Teams each week for review and feedback.

• This course aims to provide pre-bachelor students with comprehensive skills to write scientific papers effectively, emphasizing the APA (American Psychological Association) format. Students will also explore various scientific writing formats. The course incorporates hands-on in-class activities, substantial weekly assignments, and discussions on scientific writing principles. Upon completion, students should be proficient in crafting structured scientific papers and adaptable to different formatting styles.
