UKSH Gesellschaft für IT Services mbH, based in Lübeck, provides all IT services for the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) and thus supports cutting-edge medicine and research at Schleswig-Holstein's largest employer. Our service portfolio includes support for administrative and clinical systems, including customizing applications and providing the IT infrastructure, service desk and IT support. We also provide IT services to UKSH subsidiaries and other external customers.

What You Can Expect
Head of the Network group in the System Operations department
Management and development of the group's six employees
Operational planning and control of the ongoing operation of central network components (backbone, LAN, WLAN, WAN, positioning components, firewall systems)
Collaboration on the design and further development of the technical IT infrastructure
Use of high-availability solutions and operation of monitoring systems
Implementation of IT security requirements
Support for change, demand and release management, system documentation and technical risk analyses
What You Bring To The Table
Successfully completed studies or comparable training in the IT environment
Comprehensive general technical knowledge of common IT standards
Knowledge of the structure and functionality of basic infrastructure technologies (storage, server systems, networks, cloud technology, IT security)
Experience in managing staff and designing projects
Ability to develop IT systems and transfer them to production
Independent working style with a high level of personal responsibility and reliability
Ready to communicate ("take people along and convince them")
Solution-oriented ("find ways")
