MAIN TASKS

As a Future Professor With Sound Theoretical Knowledge And Practical Application Expertise, You Will Represent The Following Areas In Teaching And Research At The Faculty Of Applied Computer Science

• Fundamentals of computer science, programming and algorithms and data structures
• Artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning
  
  

Particular commitment is also expected in the area of technology and knowledge transfer and in the self-administration of the university.

YOUR PROFILE

As a future job holder, you should have a university degree in computer science or a related field.

Knowledge of at least one artificial intelligence application is also desirable, ideally in one of the following areas

• Privacy-friendly training methods
• Trustworthy artificial intelligence
• Hardware for the acceleration of training
• Embedded artificial intelligence and FPGAs
• Artificial intelligence in business informatics
  
  

The ability and willingness to teach courses in modern teaching formats (e.g. blended learning) as well as in German and English are required.

General Requirements

• Completed university degree - special aptitude for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate - pedagogical aptitude - special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, which must have been acquired after completion of the university degree and of which at least three years must have been exercised outside the university sector; proof of professional practice outside the university sector can be provided in special cases by the fact that a significant part of the professional activity has been carried out over a period of at least five years in cooperation between the university and non-university professional practice.
  
  

The standard weekly teaching obligation for professors at universities of applied sciences is 18 full-time teaching hours per semester.
