One of my favorite smart notifications is used in up to date property management software systems (PMS) to address maintenance requests. The PMS performs a rapid triage/ intake review, asks appropriate questions to quickly diagnose problems, and route the appropriate vendor/ maintenance associate to the unit to cure the problem. All this without disturbing company resources (manager). A good PMS will also send smart notifications such as scheduled late fees, rent reminders, and inspection notifications. For commercial and condo properties CAM/ HOA statements will be sent automatically advising of assessments/anticipated expenses. AI will revolutionize communication.
