𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮 Here are tips on placing big metal components, such as battery, shielding fence or capacitors near the antenna: 1. Don’t place metal parts too close: surrounding the antenna with components or routing traces nearby can interfere with its radiation pattern. 2. Be mindful of the antenna’s keep out area on all PCB layers. Do not place the battery or ground plane beneath it. 3. Ensure a proper grounding of the battery, so there is no parasitic cavity between PCB and the battery. It is worth to spend some extra time to analyse your PCB design and ensure that the antenna will perform efficiently. ❓ Have you ever had problems with antenna performance due to environment factors?
