We are an 8-figure ecommerce brand that sells products for kids in more than 15 countries. We launched the brand at the beginning of 2022 and scaled it from 0 to multiple 7 figures in our first year and did 8 figures in sales in 2023.

We are looking for a hard-working, resilient, innovative and detail-oriented product development specialist that can think outside the box. The goal of this position is to research, validate and develop  the best products from the ground up for our brand.


Key Responsibilities: 


Product & Competitor Research:

  1. Vet, evaluate and validate the product ideas provided by our Product Researcher;
  2. Perform extensive competitor research to find market opportunities;
  3. Decide & strategize which products should be newly added to KiddoSpace’s product catalog; 


Product Sourcing: 

  1. Liaise with manufacturers in China to create new prototypes and products that are unique to KiddoSpace and differentiate us among anyone else; 
  2. Supervise and work with our Product sourcer to find the ideal factory to launch the new products; 
  3. Coordinate with manufacturers in China to develop product samples and manage bulk order production;
  4. Coordinate and manage industrial designers & graphic designers, reviewing their work to create the perfect product and perfect packaging for our customers; 
  5. For certain products, you will be required to work with external outsourcing agencies that will help us develop the product with more ease and accuracy; 
  6. Negotiating purchasing terms, price, and units with factories for the launch of new products; 


Product Launch & Marketing Strategy:

  1. Build competitive offers for our products, making strategic decision about price points, discounts or what will be included inside each product listing; 
  2. Optimize product offers for profitability and value, creating profitability reports, sales forecast and inventory forecasts; 
  3. Align product development with customer demand and brand vision; 
  4. Report to the CEO & Operations Manager to ensure effective product launches;

In addition, you MUST have the following skills / experience:

  • Effective communicator.
  • Capacity to manage and lead people.
  • Proven experience in product development & product sourcing in e-commerce. 
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce and physical goods markets. 
  • Have at least 1 year of previous experience in product research, product development or innovation related fields for a D2C brand.
  • Able to balance creativity and following procedures.
  • Quick learner & willingness to learn
  • Capacity to work independently & as a team.
  • Self-organization skills.
  • Proven track record of reliability and growth in previous roles


Compensation:


Compensation will be 30K € per year, with a performance bonus of up to 30k € yearly for the launch of successful products. 45-50 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.
