Senior IT project manager

About this position:

We are looking for a Senior IT project manager, for talented and experienced engineers, who want to participate in our international expansion phase and be part of our highly skilled technical team, working in close contact with customers. This position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with global leading tech companies enabling the orchestration of their mission-critical services. You will work on a state-of-the-art edge and multi-cloud service orchestrator, which sits in the core of our product, following open-source and industry standards.

The line of work for this position will require quick learning, decision making, critical thinking and team-work. We expect candidates to require minimal technical supervision designing and implementing solutions, and to take into account the needs of our customers, as well as the rest of the development team.

In this role, we expect you to:

• Drive the project execution, working in an agile and fast-paced environment. Adapt to changing requirements and priorities to implement a successful solution.
• Work with stakeholders to understand work and effort required, and ensure work is sequenced to meet deadlines
• Support the business to document selected business processes and data flows.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Work with stakeholders to understand, document and prioritize their requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define project scope, plan, objectives, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive product decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence team members.
• Excellent English skills and fluent Spanish, other languages a plus.

Valuable skills - that if you don't have will probably develop with us:

• Understanding of clean/hexagonal architectures.
• Understanding the twelve-factor app methodology.
• Familiarity with Distributed Systems challenges such as High Availability, Federation, Eventual Consistency or Leader Election.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like Concourse and ArgoCD.
