Reporting to our VP, Content, we've got an exciting opportunity for a Social Content Director to join our Creative Social team, working with one of our important partners - a global streaming service, and other clients. You'll strategise and oversee the delivery of social media content, digital and integrated campaigns, and drive its strategic and social creative direction. We are looking for someone with knowledge across all social media platforms, and an understanding of the most impactful and award-winning campaigns, the latest trends and the content creators who are in vogue. Your responsibilities will include: Lead social creative and strategy providing oversight for omni-channel content. This includes ownership of our client's social media direction, working with the Creative team. Manage the social content team, including Social Content and Community managers. Embody the voice of the brand through at every touchpoint, applying channel-specific tactics that follow algorithm best practices. Oversight of social media channel delivery, including social copy, social scripts and asset production. Be the gatekeeper of style guides, marketing priorities, and legal considerations. Identify and share insights in social media. Attend events (including shoots and premieres), briefing and managing high profile talent. Stay current on platform updates/innovations and competitors, ensuring that best practices are being applied across all channels and insights are shared cross-team. Lead communication with clients regarding social content timelines, incremental opportunities, creativity, brand strategy, and feedback. Oversee channel management and publishing of all social content, ensuring every asset is quality controlled and up to client expectations. Work with our creative, project management and production teams to ensure the work is done to the highest standards and delivered within timelines and to client deadlines. Oversee multiple work streams simultaneously. Analyse content effectiveness with metrics that establish, validate, and improve on the content strategies and share it all with clients. Report to global leadership on internal and external matters during important meetings and statuses. Qualifications BA (Licenciado) in Advertising, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Marketing, or equivalent work experience. 10+ years experience in content creation at an agency, publication, or brand. Native Spanish and fluency in English, internally and with clients. Experience working in creative agencies and top brands. Entertainment vertical experience desirable. Experience leading organic & paid creative at local (Spain) and sometimes global level Project management skills to ensure existing projects run smoothly and new opportunities are scoped and completed. Experience presenting to and sharing new ideas with clients. Experience working with talent and covering live events Social platform expertise needed: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitch, X, LinkedIn, and more. Experience using Sprinklr or similar social media publishing and analytics tools. Comfortable with Business Affairs and vetting content against brand best practice. Create, strategise and deliver full suite of social content: static assets, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes. Build online communities, especially for brands, and understand fandom communities in social spaces. Deliver social creative campaigns at a global and national level. Anticipate problems and identify relevant solutions. Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
