Did you know? Plastic pollution has infiltrated every corner of our planet, from the deepest ocean trenches to the peak of Mount Everest. A staggering 22 million tons of plastic leaked into the environment in 2019, and that number is expected to double by 2060 according to the OECD-OCDE. This is why, at Horus Pharma, we're committed to tackling plastic pollution through our 𝗘𝗰𝗼'𝗢𝗽𝗵𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲. ♻️ In partnership with Plastic Bank, we're actively preventing plastic waste from reaching our oceans. From 2024 to the end of 2025, our goal is to prevent nearly 300 tons of plastic (about 14.7 million bottles) from entering the ocean. By collecting and recycling plastic waste, we contribute to addressing the global plastic crisis and safeguarding marine life. Additionally, our efforts are making a positive impact on local communities by providing fair wages, education, healthcare, and better working conditions for those involved in plastic collection in Egypt. The plastic crisis demands collective action. Join us in celebrating #WorldOceansDay by raising awareness and taking steps to reduce plastic use.
