We are currently looking for a Functional Architect to join the Vallourec Digital & Information System Division (VDIS), our Global Information System Departement. A passionate and multicultural team of 300 people spread out over 8 countries (France, UK, Brazil, China, Indonesia, UAE, Saudi Arabia & the US) is working on over 250 different worldwide projects.

As a Functionnal Architect you will join a specific team dedicated to architecture with an international scope.

Your main mission will be :

• Define and monitor the functions roadmaps in close relationship with the business, understanding strategy, short-term and long-term needs
• Leads projects framing and pre-studies.
• Lead build of projects budgets and planning jointly with Enterprise Architects
• Ensures Digital & IS Fit to business and leads to Simplification
• Ensures the handover to Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and projects teams
• Supervise projects to ensure the execution (Implement & Deploy) contributes to the long-term roadmap
• Deliverables: Functional Roadmaps and gates passing on pre-study phases.

Background and skills expected :

• At least 5 years of experience on a similar function
• Ability to communicate and work closely with business teams
• Ability to learn / understand Digital and IS solutions and contribute to Solution Architects recommendations and choices
• Ability to be innovative
• Ability to manage convergence of the 3 regions & work in multi cultural environment
• Communication and change management skills
• A first experience on the Legal, HR or Compliance field would be a plus.
• Speaking English as a fluent level
