It was a pleasure to interchange about risks and challenges on Scaling Up #greenhydrogen projects, during #CGHE2024, with Robert Paulnsteiner, Amaya Arias-Garcia, Olivier Benyessaad and Stephane Maillard, moderated by Pritil Gunjan. Some of the main take aways: - Small and medium #gh2 projects running are essential as a lever for Giga projects. - Nevertheless, giga projects are not simply the sum up of smaller ones, they require a different and more optimized arquitecture, to minimize Capex and Opex, and to achieve a more competitive LCOH. - Digital tools such as digital twins are key enablers for simulating, optimizing and gaining efficiency to reduce costs of Giga plants of #greenhydrogen. - Competitive cost of renewables, more transportation infrastructure and incentives to the demand must be boosted to trigger Giga projects.
