I find that often that windows do not resize correctly in response to windows being moved to another workspace or closed, or sometimes that newly opened windows do not snap into the existing layout and the current master remains as taking up the full screen with the new window appearing correctly tiled. This can be fixed by moving the master to a different workspace and back, but is annoying and happens enough to be disruptive.
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen
Just a keyboard shortcut that can be pressed to reevaluate windows on a workspace and force them back in to the default for the current layout.
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
As above, moving windows to a different workspace and back. A keybinding that does similar would be invaluable.
