show when there are errors while downloading

As it is, the errors when downloading pop up for 10 seconds or so, then disappear. The video has not downloaded correctly, I see that the length of the video in vividl is 00:00:00, but there is no red box around that download showing that it was in error, no red persistent x, nothing unless I look carefully at the length of the video to see it's 0 to see that it didn't download correctly. Also, there is no output in the Output Window under Options -> Show Output Window.

vividl has been better at downloading when there are errors, when I'm using video downloadhelper for firefox, and I've had to hit reload/retry in the firefox download window many many times, and so I was hopeful that vividl would work completely well. It works better but doesn't succeed in downloading the video I need.
