If you look at the example photo, up on the edge you can add a list of the most used categories or the most used tags (in trend)

I don't know if peertube has a tag counting system like Mastodon. If not, you can implement a tag counting system, and set a tag rating at that time

Describe alternatives you have considered
can be used for

• most used tags
• most used categories
  In case of breaking with Peertube's ideology, or disagreeing, it would be something great to implement, because on the welcome page, at least, this data can be used to give a better welcome home

Do you mean a top tags of all instances?

In the Peertube administration, you could add a [local tradigns tags] or [federate tradigns tags]
