Dialog Feature Request: Quick Alert/Confirm Dialog

I'm sure this is already on a list somewhere but I couldn't find an issue or mention in the Readme.md.

Is there plans to create pre-configured dialogs like the AngularJS version? https://material.angularjs.org/latest/api/service/$mdDialog#mddialog-alert

I ended up creating my own in a shared module for my project but it seems like one of those things that everyone doesn't need to re-invent the wheel on every time they start a new project using material2

This was originally planned but has so far always been lower priority than other stuff.

FWIW this is in the spec, but under "patterns" so I guess it's not a hard requirement?
