Can't with out first uploading it to Android studio build it there then push it GitHub

i have my headless debian server for building android apps. I have cloned this repository, changed some variables, build it with
./gradlew build
and build was successful.
But no apk file appears anywhere, used find ./ -name '*.apk'
Is there a way to build this without android studio?
