Trex v3.05 can't output traffic to E810 NICs. Running exactly the same commands with 3.03 works fine. 3.04 has a similar issue, however there is a workaround: #1110. The workaround doesn't work with 3.05.

Here is how to reproduce:

Starting trex:
_./t-rex-64 -c 8 --no-watchdog --mbuf-factor 30 -i --cfg /..../configs/trex_cfg_1.yaml

image

Sending traffic:
start -f stl/imix.py -m 1000

Unfortunately, the E810 NIC is not fully supported by us. For detailed support and assistance with this NIC, we recommend contacting Intel directly

Done. Keeping this ticket here for traceability and other E810 users. Hope Intel DPDK to provide resolution and close this ticket here.
