Explain in detail what your suggested feature would be used for.
It would be great to have a centralized database from which VRCX queries its data from. Adding a toggle which would make VRCX read-only would make it possible for non windows devices such as a raspberry pi to feed the data to the centralized database and make it still consistent (no duplicates).

Describe how it would look if it requires a UI.
A dropdown where you can choose what kind of database you want to use (SQLite, MySQL, etc.)
Fields where you can set host, username, password, etc. if applicable
A toggle where you can make VRCX is read only

Explain why people would want to use it.
I have my computer running basically 24/7 to log everything. It would be awesome if i could turn off my computer and let a rpi do all the logging :)

so far the closest that exists to this is the specifying a custom path

This is a really good suggestion! I'd love to be able to offload VRCX to my server and turn off my PC at night.
