Toyin's expertise helped us delve into the complexities of privilege and its impact within organizational settings, offering us a roadmap for integrating these crucial conversations into our DE&I strategies. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this Roundup Meeting! Here are some of the best practices highlighted: 🌏 Tailor the concept of Privilege to regional contexts, redefining it to recognise and address the cultural nuances of the region. 🔄 Utilise models like the "wheel of power and privilege" to visually represent and address varying aspects of privilege within different markets. 👥 Encourage all employees to join at least one ERG either as members or allies as it fosters deeper awareness of privilege. 📊 Utilize employee engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms to measure the impact of DE&I initiatives and adjust strategies based on real-time data and local needs.
