🏆 A massive congratulations to our very own Marie Martin, who was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award 2024 at the Life Science Industry Awards last week.   Marie has worked with MSD since 2008 in a number of positions across Ireland and Europe. She held the position of Site Lead at our site in Carlow from 2019-2023 before moving on to her current role within MSD as Global Technical Lead Vaccines & Large Molecules.   These Awards celebrate the most innovative individuals and companies driving excellence in Ireland's life sciences sector while recognising the innovation, dedication, and outstanding achievements shaping the future of the life sciences industry.   Well done Marie from all your colleagues across MSD.

We’re committed to supporting our people to be the best version of themselves, at work and beyond, while we also understand wellness means something different to everyone.   At MSD Ireland we recognise that our people are our greatest asset and that’s why our Wellbeing Team hosted a Wellbeing Roadshow at each of our 7 Irish sites throughout the month of May. Giving it a creative ‘roadmap to wellbeing’ theme, colleagues took a tour through a world of wellness, where every step led to a new exhibit or stand dedicated to enhancing their overall wellbeing. From nutrition to meditation, fitness to mental health, and even social and cultural wellbeing, the event provided a comprehensive overview of the various resources and supports that MSD Ireland has in place to support the wellbeing of our great asset, our people.   #WeAreMSD

Every year we hire over 100 students from all over Ireland who join us for Graduate, Intern and Apprenticeship opportunities across Science, Engineering, and other key functions in our business. At MSD Ireland, these individuals are a vital part of the team and we’re very grateful to have such a talented bunch join us in our quest as we continue to invent for life. To celebrate their exceptional work, we recently hosted our 4th annual Summer Event for these students giving everyone the opportunity to network with their peers, hear from a number of colleagues about their career journeys, and importantly, have some fun!
