Mastering your interview starts with the basics… Here's what not to forget: The iconic interview scene from 'Step Brothers' might make us laugh, but it’s packed with real lessons on common interview blunders. Maura O'Hea and Kate Curran weigh in on how these seemingly small errors can sabotage your chances: ✅ Honesty is Key: Never try to embellish your experiences or skills. As Kate points out, honesty matters, and being caught in a lie can end your chances immediately. ✅ Understanding Company Culture: It’s crucial to know the company’s environment to align your approach, whether it’s how you dress or how formally you speak. Overdoing it or under doing it can both miss the mark. Key tip? Authenticity + Cultural Fit = Strong Interview Impression. Bring your true self to the interview, ensuring it aligns with the company’s culture. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned from a job interview? Share your insights below! 👇
