Position Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to drive sales growth by proactively sourcing new business through inbound leads. The successful candidate will engage directly with potential customers, gaining a deep understanding of their requirements and ensuring a high number of closed sales throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Sales Management:
Handle incoming calls and efficiently process inside sales orders.
Collaborate with customers to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to their needs.
Execute effective sales strategies to convert leads into closed sales.
Quotation Processing:
Generate and process quotations for customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Work closely with the Sales Team to align quotations with customer expectations.
Team Collaboration:
Contribute actively as a vital member of a skilled Sales Team, leveraging collective expertise.
Participate in collaborative efforts across all facets of the business on-site.
Holistic Business Involvement:
Engage in various aspects of the business on-site, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.
Undertake additional duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the client and organization.
Essential Qualifications:
Sales Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of proven sales experience.
Advantageous to have prior experience in Electrical Wholesale.
Product Knowledge:
Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical products and industry trends.
Technical and Functional Skills:
Organizational and Time Management:
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
Exhibit attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially under pressure.
Communication Skills:
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, maintaining strong relationships.
Exhibit clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
IT Proficiency:
Display proficiency in essential software tools, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Leverage IT skills to enhance sales processes and productivity.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Key Contacts:
Customers:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Branch Colleagues:
Collaborate closely with colleagues within the branch.
Branch Manager:
Report to and coordinate with the Branch Manager for strategic alignment and performance evaluation.
