Devise the main business processes' backup policy while reducing storage usage costs - Estimated at ~$30k savings per month.
Project involved:
* Mapping all data on all backup servers.
* Talking to main stakeholders in the company & mapping what can be deleted and what should be moved to the various storage tiers on the cloud based on frequency of data access.
* Plan execution - move data around, delete irrelevant data -thus resulted with removal of physical servers and saving…Devise the main business processes' backup policy while reducing storage usage costs - Estimated at ~$30k savings per month.
Project involved:
* Mapping all data on all backup servers.
* Talking to main stakeholders in the company & mapping what can be deleted and what should be moved to the various storage tiers on the cloud based on frequency of data access.
* Plan execution - move data around, delete irrelevant data -thus resulted with removal of physical servers and saving ~30k$ per month.
* Automate DB backups with full transparency & visibility for dev teams, incorporating retention policy. -
Solo SCM Migration - Bitbucket Cloud -> Self Hosted GitLab

Solo project - Migration of R&D's 200+ (100%) code repositories from BitBucket Cloud to Self-Hosted GitLab on Kubernetes, E2E, under a tight schedule.
E2E management & execution of source control management platform migration of the entire R&D department.
Project involved:

👉🏻 Onboarding & off-boarding - Onboarding for dev teams to adopt GitLab faster, Off-boarding for my team to be able to manage the infrastructure independently.
