Over the last year, despite nearly 9.9% growth in net earned premiums, the U.S. P&C industry reported a whopping $21.2 billion underwriting loss due to extreme weather events. Over the last few years, the P&C insurance industry has faced challenges from digitization, pandemic, climate change, and inflation.
