Planting 10 Million Trees in 10 Cities

About us

The Million Miyawaki Foundation is a national transformative initiative aimed at reducing pollution in our cities through Sustainable Urban Afforestation using the Miyawaki Technique. We are starting by greening our capital Delhi by planting a million trees within tight urban spaces using the Miyawaki Technique. We are well on our way to achieve this goal having collaborated with Technical Experts, Educational Institutes, Corporates, and various Civil Society Communities, who have all started to join hands with us and are contributing to this meaningful cause for our children. We invite you to join us. Let's come together to create a greener, healthier future in India's cities. #OurMission:: Plant at least 10 million trees across at least 10 fast growing Tier 2 cities in India by 2030. Starting with our nation’s capital Delhi, our foundation aims to enable planting of at least 1 million trees across 1,500 small plots in Delhi and NCR by 2027, using the Miyawaki Forest Technique. We are guided by a wonderful advisory board: 1) Mr Arjun Malhotra, Doon School, IIT-KGP, Co-founder HCL, Headstrong 2) Ms Monica Sagar, Director-Principal at Shiv Nadar School 3) Mr Kartik Kilachand, Executive Chairman at IITians Influencing India’s Transformation 4) Badri Agarwal, Founder Bharti (Airtel) Foundation, Former President, Airtel, Former MD, Eicher For more information on our project and Student Ambassador Programmes reach to us at: outreach@millionmiyawaki.org "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has", Margaret Mead
